Quiz maker frequently asked questions

Q) Is there a way to randomize the questions within a quiz, so every time a quiz opens the questions are in a different order?

A) Yes you can optionaly select questions and/or answers to be given in a random order with our online testing system. You will find these setting on the 'Assign tests' page when you assign tests to your classes or groups.

Q) Can I have quiz results emailed to myself?

A) Yes.

Q) Is ClassMarker Professional different to ClassMarker Rebranded quizzes?

A) Yes, these are two separate features. Find out more on our Quiz maker features page.

Q) Can I link directly to quizzes from my website?

A) Yes, you can create external links directly to your quizzes in ClassMarker and even make these pages look like your own webiste. Find out more on our Rebranded quizzes page.

Q) Can I copy quizzes other users have added to ClassMarker?

A) Yes, but only the the quizzes that have been set to shared by their creators.

Q) How can I let my learners retake a quiz?

A) You can either set a quiz to practice mode allow this quiz to be taken unlimited times, or you can choose to set a quiz to save answers, in which case after you have viewed the results you can delete the results which allows the learner to take the quiz again. You will find links to delete a single users results from the bottom of the 'Full results page', or you can delete a whole classes results at the bottom of the 'Class Results' page.

Q) Can I allow my learners to save a quiz half way through and then resume it at a later date?

A) We will have this working in the future.

Q) Can I set a time limit on quizzes?

A) Yes you can set time limits to your multiple choice tests. You set time limits via the 'Assign tests' page when you assign tests to your classes or groups.

Q) Can I delete my learners results?

A) Yes you will see 'Delete results' links under your 'Class results' pages and your individual 'Learner results' pages.

Q) What happens when I want to change my learners.

A) When you have finished with a set of learners and you wish to register new learners , you need to delete your old learners , then as you did previously, select how many learners you want assigned to your class, then let your new learners register with the new registration codes that will be created for you.

Q) Should I receive an email every time I register a learner via the automatic learner registration form?

A) No, emails are not sent via this method of registration. Please make a note of the user name and password shown on the screen after each automatic registration.

Q) Do my learners need their own email address?

A) No, however an email address does need to be registered with each learner account. You can use your own email address or create one for the purpose of ClassMarker. You can use the same email address for each of your learners

Learner email address are only needed for the purpose of lost passwords.
Note: Teachers can also reset learner passwords as well.

Q) When online test results are emailed to me, do I see the full results in the emails?

A) Yes, you are emailed all the questions, answers and chosen answers with corrections, per test per student.
