ClassMarker takes your privacy seriously. We are committed to protecting the privacy of personally identifiable information sent to us by you. It remains our policy and our commitment not to distribute, sell, rent or in any way make available your name, email address or other personal information to any third party without your prior written consent.

How we use this information

We collect this information as a means of personalisation and contact if required i.e. we can send you an email with a new password if you have forgotten your password.

We may monitor this website (including using 'cookies') in order to identify user trends, which will assist us in improving the site. If that occurs, the information will only be used in aggregate form and your individual details will not be identified or disclosed to any person.

Teachers will have access to, and only to, their own information and some information on the learners they have registered under them. Information teachers have from their learners is user name, full name, email address and test results. Learners do not have access to anyones user name but their own.

Learners will have access only to their own information and their teachers name. They will also see any notes left by a teacher which is intended to be seen by the whole class.

Results from online testing will only be available for the test taker (individual learner) only and their teachers. Learners cannot see each others online test results.

Passwords can not be viewed by teachers or learners at all. Passwords can only be reset via the forgot password page linked to from the home page or via the 'Edit my details' page.

Teachers and Learners alike can easily edit their own information at any time after they have logged in.

Rebranded tests saved information

Users taking rebranded tests may be asked to submit personal information like Name, Email address and anything else the ClassMarker account administrator asks for. ClassMarker will not supply this information to any other third party, as stated above, although, this information is available to the account administrator, and therefore ClassMarker is not responsible for this information you provide. Contact the account administrator who gave you access to the test to find out what they will use this information for before giving any information.

Protection

Your information is protected by secure servers. Your information is also password-protected so only you will have access to your information unless you choose to share some of your online tests with other users.

New versions will be posted on this web site, so please check back periodically for updates.
