ClassMarker can be used in both a class-based environment where you can register and test users under your account, or using 'External testing', you can easily send links directly to non registered users to take your tests and have their details and results saved in ClassMarker for you.

Option 2 - ClassMarker External testing

External testing simply allows 'non registered' users to take your online tests and save their results.

No advertising is shown when 'External tests' are taken that are set to save results (1 credit used per saved test results - see below for credits pricing).

You can brand our pages to look like your own website and users can link directly back to your website after they have finished their quiz.

Which package should I choose?

For a classroom based environment where you are testing the same users over longer periods of time and at the same times, Professional is your preferred option.

For individual, once off, and bulk testing, External testing allows you much greater freedom as you do not have to worry about registering each separate test taker into your classes and providing them with login details etc, simply send the link to your test and have the test takers details and results saved in ClassMarker and optionally emailed straight to you.

If you are testing users on a regular basis, depending on the number of users, you can use Professional or External testing. However, as you need to register each test taker, instructors usually go for the External testing option (which requires no user registration), as instructors only need to send out the link to their test. Their user then add their name and any other required information before taking the test, so there is much less work on the instructors end.

Do I get statistics on test results?
Yes, both Professional and External testing options provide statistics over results. Both options also allow you to create multiple classes or groups to keep users grouped to your needs.

What's the difference between:
1. ClassMarker Standard
2. ClassMarker Professional
3. ClassMarker External testing

ClassMarker Standard (Free) features, (listed in the table above), are available as soon as you register with ClassMarker. These free features are always available across both Professional upgrades or when buying External testing credits.

1. ClassMarker Standard is for a standard class based environment (Business / Educational / Self study & more..) when you have one or more classes of users taking your tests. All users need to be registered into one of your classes to take one of your tests. 1 to 1000 reusable student places can be registered into your classes.

You can also use all free External testing features listed in the Features table above.

2. ClassMarker Professional Contains the same features as ClassMarker standard but also includes the extra features listed in the Features table above.

You can also use External testing, but results are not saved or emailed to you unless you buy credits.

3. ClassMarker External testing is more beneficial for bulk testing or testing individuals in a 'once of' situation. This saves time by removing the need to have to register each individual test taker, just send users a link to your test/s and let ClassMarker take care of the rest. You still know who took the test because they can add their details in just before taking the test.

ClassMarker External testing also allows you to rebrand your test pages with your own logos and colors, removing the ClassMarker look and feel. You can even add a link to point your users back to your website after they have finished their online test.
