This means you can now, Bold, italic, underlined, Not only that, but you can also embed multiple images or YouTube videos with your questions and answers. And lets not forget you can also link to external websites and reference materials like presentations and documents, directly from your questions. More information can be found on our BBCode help page. You will find the BBCode help link in your instructions drop down at the top of your edit question pages. Please note: We have tested and tested these new features and ironed out all the bugs, however, if you do see any problems, do let us know via the Contact us link found at the bottom of every page so we can promptly correct any issues we haven't noticed. Please also note: These new features are free to use and as such we do not have control over advertising that Google[TM] may display within YouTube[TM] videos, so please use YouTube embedding with this in mind. And lastly, you do not need to use BBCode if you do not want to. You can continue to use standard text questions as before. Export full results - 8 Sep 2009 At the bottom of your 'Class results' and 'Group results' pages, you will see a link to export all learners test results, including scores and chosen answers. These exports can be used to import results into your own systems or simply keep your own copy for offline viewing. All learners answers are listed, followed by the corresponding questions below. Please note: Questions may not always be listed in the order they where given in the actual test. Show only incorrect responses - 2 Sep 2009 Now when you and your learners view test results, there is a new link near the top of the page to hide 'Correct responses' and display only the 'Incorrect and Partially incorrect responses'. This allows much faster access to view only the responses that are incorrect. Also, for multiple choice and multiple response questions, the learners chosen answer a) b) etc are displayed above the answers. This allows easier viewing of learners selected answers. These options allow you to easily change the settings across multiple questions at once. Please note: When changing settings for a specific test, any other tests that use the 'same questions' will also reflect these changes. Display unused questions - 24 Aug 2009 Within your question bank, you can now view questions that are not currently being used in any of your tests. See the new 'Display unused questions' link. Two new updates to External testing - 28 July 2009 1. Access lists You can now upload an access list to limit exactly who can take your external tests and also how many times users in the list can take the test. Your access list can be anything from Email addresses to Employee ids. See 'Access lists' under the External testing section for more information. 2. Group instructions now 5000 Characters The External testing Group instructions text limit is now 5000 characters. Change account usernames - 8 July 2009 If you wish to change your account username, your can now do this via the Student accounts can only change their usernames once, where as Teacher/Instructor accounts can change their usernames multiple times. Special characters - 30 May 2009 When adding or editing questions, you will see a link for 'Symbols and Characters' which will display the following symbols to allow for easy copy and pasting into your question and answer fields. You can also search for learners by name as well. Look for the new Search links under your My classes and External testing left hand navigation. View which tests contain specific questions - 3 May 2009 In your 'Edit test' and 'Question bank 'pages, you will now see new links with each question called 'Show tests'. This link will instantly list the tests using that specific question. 3 New features! - 25 April 2009 1) New navigation - 25 April 2009 We have added the new left hand navigation in to make ClassMarker faster and easier to move between sections. We have also simplified some pages to again make the page clearer and easier to use. All pages are still in the same place, except you will now find most links in the left hand navigation. 2) Copy test, Duplicate questions - 25 April 2009 When you copy one of your tests, you now have the option to make the copied test reference the same questions in your question bank, or make new copies of each question in the test. 3) New statistics available - 25 April 2009 You can now get more information from your statistics pages. For example, you can find out exactly who got a particular question right or wrong, and how a particular learner is doing across your categories + more. Add extra email addresses for external test results - 16 March 2009 If you are performing external testing via Groups, you can now choose to send test results for different groups to different email addresses. Go to your My groups pages to start verifying new email addresses, then you can select which email address to send your group results to via your Group preference pages. Search your question bank - 26 February 2009 You can now search for questions in your question bank. Search for a word or exact phrase that appears in your question text. Search does not look through text in your answers, only text in your actual 'questions'. Jump to previous questions during test - 24 February 2009 When taking tests, if you have the test set to allow learners to click back to previous questions during a test, they will now see a new link: After selecting this link, learners will see a list of all the questions they have seen in their test so far and can jump directly back and forth between questions. Print tests and test sorting - 15 February 2009 Two new updates. You can now print tests to be taken on paper - see 'Print' in your My tests page next to each test. You can now list your tests by category to make it easier to find your tests. Listing by category if used on your 'My tests' page as well as your 'Assign tests' pages. Default test settings - 12 February 2009 Two new updates. First: You can now set default test settings to make assigning your tests to your classes and groups much quicker. The link for default test settings is on your 'My tests' page. Second: Once you have set these you can take your tests directly from your 'My tests' page (via the 'Do test' link) which will use your default test settings. Hide tests in classes - 10 February 2009 You can now hide tests in your classes instead of un-assigning them. This means you can assign a test to a class and keep it hidden until you want your learners to take it. And after the test is taken, you can set the test to be hidden so your learners can no longer see the test or results. You can still see the results for tests when they are hidden. You set the 'Show/Hide' test settings in your 'Class home pages' or in the 'Assign tests' pages. View more recently added test features >> |
